How can I watch YouTube together?

It's really just 3 steps. Create a group, share it with a friend, and start a video.

Do I need to create an account?

No, all functionality is available to you even without an account. However it has its benefits.

Do I need a computer to use GroupTube?

You can use GroupTube either on your computer or on mobile. Download the mobile app from the App Store.

Can I watch a video not found on YouTube?

Currently GroupTube only supports YouTube. However we are planning to add Spotify and Twitch soon.

How can I search and queue new videos?

Use the integrated YouTube search (using the official API) to search. You can then add video to the queue directly.

How do I invite friends to watch together?

After creating a group, just copy the url and share it with your friends. They will be able to join directly.
