Connect Four is a classic drop-and-connect game: take turns dropping a disc into a column; gravity pulls it to the lowest free spot. First player to align four in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally wins.

How to start playing

Two players join the game. Each drop is shared live, so everyone in the group sees the same board — ideal for coaching or a friendly audience.

Rules

The game rules on GroupTube match the common Connect Four style of the game (vertical grid, gravity drops, four in a row to win).

1. Starting Position

The grid is empty. Each player has a supply of discs in their color.

2. Objective

Be the first to form an unbroken line of four of your discs in a row — in any row, column, or diagonal.

3. Turns

Players alternate. On your turn, choose one column that is not full and drop a single disc into it.

4. Gravity

Your disc always lands in the lowest empty cell in that column.

5. End of the game

The game ends when someone gets four in a row (win) or when the grid is full with no four in a row (draw).
