Whiteboard

GroupTube Productivity

Use a shared whiteboard to brainstorm with your group: capture ideas, group them, draw arrows between concepts, and sketch rough flows in one place.

It’s a shared wall or flip chart on the web: everyone looks at the same whiteboard canvas, can add and move drawings together, and point at things instead of sending screenshots around. Handy for brainstorms, workshops, planning, or explaining something step by step while it’s all in front of you.

How to use

  • Open Whiteboard from the Apps tab. One canvas is shared by everyone in the session—ideas, shapes, and arrows update as you go.
  • Pick tools from the left toolbar: selection, shapes, arrows, lines, text, images, and the hand tool to pan. Zoom in and out with the on-canvas controls or familiar trackpad and touch gestures.
  • Undo and redo when you need to back up. Duplicate, group, and align items from the usual menus and shortcuts.
  • Export a picture of the board (for example PNG or SVG) when you want to keep a snapshot outside GroupTube — what’s available depends on your browser and device.

Features

Brainstorming and thinking together

  • Throw ideas onto the canvas — quick scribbles, circles around themes, or labeled areas for “later” vs “now.”
  • Connect ideas with arrows and lines, so relationships stay visible.
  • Reorder and cluster as the conversation moves — drag things into groups, duplicate a good pattern, or clear a corner and start fresh.
  • Add text for titles, votes, or next steps, so the board doubles as a light record of the session.

Drawing and layout

  • Freehand pencil for fast sketches
  • Shapes (rectangles, ellipses, diamonds, and more) with a clear
  • Arrows and connectors for flows and diagrams
  • Images you can place and move with the rest
  • Line color, line weight, and shape fill color are adjustable

The canvas is infinite — zoom and pan so you always have room for the next idea.

Collaboration

  • Watch the board update in real time as others draw or move content
  • See the cursors of all users as they move around the canvas
  • Best with voice or video to truly brainstorm together
