Introducing GroupTube 1.4 – Now on Mobile + New Homepage!

We are so happy to announce the release of GroupTube 1.4! This update marks a significant milestone in our journey as we bring GroupTube to mobile devices. Now you can watch YouTube together with friends anywhere, anytime through our new iOS and Android apps.

We've also revamped our homepage and fixed several important issues to make your GroupTube experience even better.

Mobile Apps

The most exciting addition in 1.4 is our new mobile app, available for both iOS and Android devices. Now you can:

• Join watch parties from your phone or tablet
• Watch videos together while using voice and video calls
• Switch to landscape mode for simultaneous video and call viewing

Whether you're commuting, traveling, or just prefer using your mobile device, our mobile apps deliver the same synchronized viewing experience you love.

With roughly one-third of our users accessing GroupTube from mobile devices, bringing GroupTube to iOS and Android was critical.

Improved Homepage

We've completely redesigned our homepage to better showcase what GroupTube is all about. The new design:

• Clearly explains how GroupTube works
• Makes it easier for new users to get started
• Highlights key features and benefits

Bug Fixes

• We've fixed an issue with Auto-play when running in the background.
